Some things from Bobbi Brown

I had been looking for a while to find a compact powder foundation to touch up during the day and after a recent visit to the Bobbi Brown county I came away with one and some others. I have always had a soft spot for Bobbi Brown as no matter what you buy for them you will never look OTT. Of all the products bought I hadn’t tried any of them before.

So from left to right: Skin Weightless Powder Foundation in Beige 3. In the Autumn/Winter I will always opt for a more full coverage so this being a light weight powder foundation is wonderful for topping up at the end of the day if you are heading out straight from work. I am really enjoying using this. Sheer Lip Colour in Bobbi 5, this is a lovely nude sheer  colour that goes on really well and just looks like your lips but better, loving this.

Then as part of their Christmas range I genuinely couldn’t decide between the sparkle brown or purple eyeliner so decided to go for both. Now so far I have just used the brown and adore it. I am of course talking about the Long-Wear Liquid Liner in Golden Bronze Sparkle and Violet Sparkle. These are brush applicator liners but go on beautifully and last a long time. I think for any beauty lovers in your life one of these and they have several shades would be a lovely gift.

Next up was a cover up I have heard so much about for years in the blogging world and just never got round to trying its the very popular Creamy Concealer Kit and I got mine in Sand. Now when I see this and evening looking at these photos the concealer to me looks very pinky and the assistant seemed really surprised by that and had I not had it tried on me I would never have gone for this particular colour but alas I stand corrected this doesn’t come across as pink on me. I like the idea that there is the yellow based powder to finish off the colour.

Finally being very late into the blusher game I normally use a peach colour but was looking for something that might just give a little bit more colour in the winter months. I went for their blusher in Slopes and each time I use this I fall just a bit more in love with it. As always less is very much more with blusher but in true Bobbi Brown style it is just so elegant and gives a lovely flush of colour.

So altogether very pleased with these purchases.
