Recent Purchases

Well I thought it might be nice to share with you some of my recent purchases. Hello Boots points redeemed, gift vouchers and treats, thank you very much:-)

From left to right:

Moroccanoil Treatment Light – I have been a long time fan of this hair oil and often bought the small version but decided to invest in the full size that comes with a super handy pump. It is the original and the best hair oil it has to be said and the smell – wow.

Chanel Vitalumière Aqua in 30 Beige – I have wanted to try this foundation for some time but always stayed clear when it viewers said it gives a ‘glowy’ appearance. No thanks to my oily skin. The reason I bought it this time is that my skin seems to be changing to combination so with dry cheeks and everywhere else oily. So the appeal in this foundation has upped. I have worn it now about 4 times with good results. Watch this space.

Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara in 10 – This curls and lengthens the lashes and it does do a great job but I think I miss the volume too. This is my first try of Chanel Mascara’s so pleasantly pleased with this one.

Another product I have been super curious to try out is Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in 05 Tangerine. I do really love this lip oil and it got the thumbs up from my mum. I think the ‘comfort’ in the title is really fitting as it does feel like your lips are mostiurised and the oil isn’t gloopy. Only down side and to be honest this is a big downside it’s a nightmare to apply. The applicator doesn’t come out quickly so you have to give it some force and when you do more often than not the oil spills and lets face it tangerine coloured oil on clothes is a no no. Please Clarins repackage this wonderful product.

GLAMGLOW Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment – so I have been really eager to try this little pot of apparent magic out. I went for the small point as I wasn’t sure if I would like it. I haven’t tried it yet, apparently you don’t need much and on the instructions you can use this 2/3 times a week or even over night. I love to try masks on a Sunday so watch this space.

IKEA –  I may possibly have went to IKEA on Easter Friday, I hadn’t really planned it but as part of a personal pinterest project I knew I had a few ideas in mind for giving my balcony a bit of a makeover. I will post all that  was bought later, the candle and candle holder in the picture was one such purchase. Can anyone – ever – go into IKEA and not spend a fortune 🙁

There has been lots of other things that I am sure will pop up on the blog in the coming weeks but that’s it for now.
