When the weekend comes I like to relax in all ways possible so when it comes to my face I want a lighter base, a chance for my skin to breathe. So I thought I would share my weekend face with you.
I have been enjoying Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in Ginger. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with BM. I think you can only use their foundations when your skin is in excellent condition or maybe its me. I have been enjoying the Complexion Rescue but it is the most lightest of bases I have so it does take a bit of getting used to. The lady at the counter gave me the tip of using the powder along with it. I already have the matte powder pictured above and she is right it gives a lovely fresh coverage perfect of the weekend using the two products.
For eyes less is more so I just put on some Mascara (currently loving Chanel Volume Mascara) and tidying up my eyebrows I use Anastasaia Tinted Brow Gel just to keep things in check.
The next three products are for a little bit of low maintenance checking so lip balm is an absolute must in the picture I used Rêve de Miel by Nuxe. I have had this forever and to be honest it’s not my favourite but as it cost a pretty penny I persevere in its use. I wouldn’t be repurchasing it. It’s not bad its just not my favourite consistency for a lip balm.
When you have less makeup on you do need a wee pop on the cheeks and nothing quite gives my cheeks a pop when I have a bit of a tan than Sephora’s Coral Rosé No 06. As you can see I have touched pan on this and need to repurchase but it’s lasted me almost two years so great value. It has tiny flecks of gold and is just the best coral colour ever.
Finally I use for touching up during the day – if needed PÜR 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup in Light Tan with the PÜR brush also shown. I had never used anything from this range before but really quite like it. I use this brush to buff into my skin the BM powder too.
It just seems to work this combo but as you know I am always changing it up. What’s your weekend face consist of?
